Urban Survivor Group Fitness has been in the business of designing and delivering outdoor group fitness sessions to the public since 2004. While other boot camps have come and gone, we have continued to evolve.
A large part of this success is our welcoming atmosphere. Rather than a traditional boot camp, we offer a unique style of outdoor training that uses the very latest equipment and specifically prescribed drills and games to improve strength, agility, coordination and cardiovascular endurance.
How Do We Get Results?
By applying the Survivor Theory to our sessions, you get quicker results and burn more fat, even when you are not exercising. This is after-burn; a major component of the Survivor Effect. Our sessions are specially designed to facilitate this effect. You will not get after-burn from a spin class or a jog.
The Survivor Theory is based on the physiology that after a specific series of intervals your body needs more fuel to get back to its original resting state. Our sessions cause this to occur by confusing your metabolic system and muscles.
Every session is original and varied, incorporating everything from hill runs and resistance circuits to obstacle courses and boxing sequences. We have the largest range of equipment of any outdoor operator in Australia and our instructors have huge imaginations. However, this creativity does not come at the expense of results. All exercises prescribed are results-driven, rather than fads.
Can Anyone Do It?
Definitely. No matter what fitness level you are at today, we will progress your ability and get you results more rapidly than any other form of training available. And we will do it safely.
Our instructors will motivate and challenge you, but they will not bark military-style orders. Urban Survivor prides itself on being social and inviting. So much so that we offer numerous social events that range from physically challenging adventures to weekend retreats to casual brekkies and dinners that are simply for fun.
